role
The project accountant is responsible for
monitoring project progress, approving expenses, checking variances, and
sending project billings are issued and payments are collected.

Experience: 10 years of experience as a Project Accountant in the oil &
gas/construction sector
Education: Currently working towards CPA designation
Background:
- Project accountant on an award-winning $250M
project while collaborating alongside project managers, estimators, controllers
managing budgets, P&L and LEM’s
- Developed and maintained multiple budgets and
cost controls for equipment managers who oversaw shop activities for various
construction departments
- Prepared and provided monthly analysis and
breakdown for activities that included GST/HST, QST, MST and filing of
regulatory reports promptly
- Adept at using SAP, Great Plains, (MS
Dynamics), SAGE 50, Simply Accounting and MS Office with knowledge of CAS and
US GAAP
