    As a critical member of Express team, the Recruiting and Marketing Specialist (RMS) is responsible for the coordination of marketing and recruiting efforts for our Express location. This role is designed to focus on driving in quality people and new clients by utilizing the marketing and social media tools offered by Express along with local networking, community events, job fairs, neighborhood marketing, e-mail marketing, website updates and on-line ads. Recruitment is the life blood of our organization. Our product depends on attracting and retaining the best talent for our clients.

    The RMS is expected to provide a high level of customer service to recruiting sources and potential associates. This role will support the recruiting needs of the sales team, proactively seek and assist in maintaining a well-qualified associate pool/skills base. This person is expected to serve as an effective liaison for the inside and outside sales teams with special emphasis on developing relationships with a variety of sources of applicant referral sources.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain key recruiting relationships that increase applicant flow and the quality of applicants
    • Coordinate recruiting efforts and screen for specific skills and experience to help fill job orders with urgency
    • Coordinate marketing programs to gain new clients and retain current clients
    • Coordinate marketing programs to develop referrals and retain current associates, with the focus mainly on Social Media

    Key Qualifications

    • 3 -5 years of relevant office experience in Marketing and/or Human Resources/Recruiting
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources or a relevant field is preferred
    • Exceptional customer service skills and experience
    • Will be collaborative with experience in team/project oriented activities
    • The ability to adapt to a variety of tasks and projects and work through the road blocks to achieve successful outcomes and demonstrate openness to new ideas and approaches
    • Possess a strong understanding and appreciation of a diverse work environment
    • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Publisher
    • Prior marketing experience with Social Media sites like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter is required
    • The ideal candidate will also have experience with a verity of search engines and SEO techniques and experience designing basic flyers using in house or stock graphics utilizing software like Publisher along with the use of an e-mail CRM Product

    Compensation:

    • This is a full time, long term Direct Hire position, hours Monday-Friday 7 am – 4 pm, with some flexibility required to attend networking and job fair events
    • 45,000-$50,000 base, plus unlimited commission.
