Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Patient Care Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our patients, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and support throughout their healthcare journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main liaison between patients and healthcare providers.
- Assist patients with scheduling appointments, managing prescriptions, and understanding treatment plans.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
- Educate patients on healthcare procedures and policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; education in healthcare or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a patient care or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficiency in using healthcare management software and other relevant tools.
