Accounting Clerk

Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $60,000–$68,000 annually D.O.E

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (1-hr lunch) or 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (30-min lunch)


Position Summary

We are hiring a full-time Accounting Clerkwith a strong background in QuickBooks Desktop and general accounting operations. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, fast-paced medical manufacturing and distribution company undergoing rapid expansion through acquisition and national integration. The role combines traditional accounting responsibilities with light inventory oversight, with a primary focus on financial accuracy, process creation, and operational support.

Ideal candidates are high-performing, organized, and self-motivated professionals ready to take ownership of accounting functions while supporting systems development. This position is on-site in Phoenix and offers a clear path for long-term growth as the company scales nationally.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, and financial tracking

  • Manage and maintain company accounts using QuickBooks Desktop

  • Develop and refine accounting procedures, internal controls, and systems integration

  • Support financial oversight across multiple business units, including Phoenix, Nogales, and Oklahoma

  • Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting

  • Monitor inventory movement and work closely with the materials team for monthly reconciliation

  • Assist with vendor payments, customer invoicing, and cash flow reporting

  • Participate in the integration of acquired companies into existing financial systems

  • Act as a key point of contact for internal team members and external vendors


Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience

  • Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop (not QuickBooks Online)

  • Strong knowledge of A/P, A/R, general ledger, and reconciliations

  • Comfortable working in a small business environment where flexibility and initiative are key

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to establish systems and improve financial processes

  • Professional appearance and communication

  • Ability to pass standard pre-employment screening


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-heavy industry

  • Familiarity with supply chain, materials planning, or warehouse controls

  • Previous experience supporting a business through acquisitions or growth stages

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
