Quality Assurance Technician

$20.00 

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Control

• Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure product consistency and adherence to industry standards, with an emphasis on Foodready software.

• Collaborate with the production team to embed quality control processes into daily workflows.

• Monitor and review quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and executing corrective actions.

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and internal quality standards.

• Stay current on industry guidelines and update protocols as needed.

• Prepare for and assist with regulatory audits and inspections.

• Train new hires and existing staff on GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other food safety initiatives.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with the Production Supervisor and department leads to align quality goals.

• Support the development of a Quality Technician—either internally or through external hiring.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze quality data to detect trends, pinpoint issues, and evaluate the effectiveness of improvement efforts.

• Deliver regular quality reports to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations.

Training & Development

• Assess training needs and implement programs to strengthen team capabilities in quality assurance.

• Mentor and guide staff on best practices in food safety and quality standards.

Health & Safety

• Promote a culture of safety and compliance across quality and production teams.

• Ensure all quality-related procedures adhere to health and safety regulations.
