Job Full Description

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Tax Preparer to join our team for the upcoming tax season. In this role, you’ll work directly with clients to prepare accurate federal and state tax returns while delivering a friendly, professional experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns

  • Represent clients before the IRS (audits, collections, appeals)

  • Identify tax‑saving strategies and provide year‑round tax planning

  • Review financial documents for accuracy and compliance

  • Communicate clearly with clients and maintain confidentiality

  • Stay current on tax law changes

  • Use tax software to prepare and e‑file returns

Qualifications:

  • Active Enrolled Agent (EA) credential

  • Experience with individual and business tax returns

  • Strong knowledge of federal/state tax codes

  • Proficiency with tax software

  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with complex or multi‑state returns

  • Bookkeeping/accounting knowledge

  • Bilingual abilities
