Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Manufacturing Clerk to support our manufacturing and logistics operations. This role is responsible for managing the flow of information and materials throughout the production lifecycle, ensuring inventory accuracy, and serving as a key point of contact for shipping and receiving activities.

The ideal candidate has experience working with SAP or a similar ERP system and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Shipment Preparation

  • Coordinate the shipping and receiving of materials, components, and finished goods.

  • Inbound: Unpack, verify, and record incoming materials against purchase orders or shipping manifests.

  • Outbound: Prepare bills of lading (BOL), packing slips, and shipping labels for outgoing freight.

SAP / ERP Data Management

  • Execute daily production order confirmations.

  • Process shipment transactions to accurately record material movements and completed quantities.

Pallet & Label Creation

  • Generate and verify pallet tags and product labels.

  • Ensure accurate identification of goods by part number, batch, and quantity.

Order Tracking

  • Monitor active production orders for delays or material shortages.

  • Provide timely updates to relevant departments to maintain workflow efficiency.

Scrap & Defect Reporting

  • Track and record scrap and rejected materials in SAP.

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and support cost analysis efforts.

Inventory Control

  • Verify part numbers against Bills of Materials (BOM).

  • Ensure proper raw material consumption and document discrepancies during receiving.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Technical Skills: Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift packages and stand for extended periods during inspections and shipment processing.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in documenting weights, charges, and part numbers.
