Position Summary:
The Press Machine Operator is responsible for operating commercial pressing equipment to finish garments according to company quality standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring customers receive professionally cleaned and pressed clothing in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate commercial press machines for shirts, pants, jackets, dresses, and specialty garments

Inspect garments before and after pressing to ensure quality standards are met

Identify fabric types and adjust pressing techniques accordingly

Follow proper handling procedures to prevent damage or shrinkage

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues

Meet daily production goals while maintaining high quality

Work collaboratively with cleaning and front counter staff
Qualifications:

Previous experience in dry cleaning or garment pressing preferred (training available for motivated candidates)

Ability to stand for extended periods

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed
