Job Full Description
Job Duties:
- Assessing the installation site and preparing it by cleaning and leveling the surface
- Removing old flooring and debris to ensure a clean and smooth base for new installations
- Measuring the area accurately to determine the amount of material needed
- Installing various types of flooring materials including, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, carpet, and polish concrete
- Cutting flooring materials to fit around corners, edges, and obstacles
- Using adhesives, nails, staplers, or other methods to secure flooring materials in place
- Ensuring that the flooring is laid evenly and smoothly with not gaps or imperfections
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional attitude and good communication skills
Requirements:
- Previous floor installation experience required
- Able to read a tape measure and operate power tools
- Able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Able to lift, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, push, pull, reach, climb
- Able to work at various job sites, which may include residential, commercial, and industrial locations
- Able to work around dust
Work Schedule: 7am to 4pm Monday - Friday
