Job Full Description
Job Duties:
- Responsible for monitoring and operating the truck scale system to accurately record incoming and outgoing loads
- Inspecting materials for compliance with landfill regulations
- Verifying customer information
- Issuing scale tickets
- Maintaining accurate transaction records
- Ensure all interactions with customers and drivers are conducted in courteous, professional and efficient manner
- Accurate and timely processing of all scale transactions, proper documentation of load types, and adherence to all company and regulatory procedures
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a safe organized work environment
Requirements:
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Attentive to detail
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
- Effectively communicate verbally
- Basic math skills
- Familiarity with ticketing or point-of-sale systems preferred
- Previous experience in a clerical, customer service, or scale house environment preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Schedule: 8am to 12pm on Saturday's
