Job Full Description
Job Duties:
- Inspect raw materials, parts, and finish products for defects, damage, or deviations from specifications
- Review blueprints, measurements, and production standards to ensure products meet required tolerances
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, tape measures, and visual inspection methods to verify quality
- Record inspections results and maintain reports for quality, receiving, inventory, and scrap tracking
- Analyze inspection data to help solve production problems and recommend process improvements
- Work closely with production teams and supervisors
- Approve or reject incoming materials based on quality standards and document supplier performance
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections during manufacturing and assembly
- Identify non-conforming materials, scrap, or defects and report
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and manufacturing standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with audits and continuous improvement efforts through the plant
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or quality management
Requirements:
- Previous experience with quality and quality assurance
- Attentive to detail and organized
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to lift, bend, stoop, stand, reach, twist, push, pull, walk for periods of time
Work Schedule: 2pm to 10:30pm Monday - Friday w/ OT as needed
