Job Full Description
Job Duties:
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance issues using computerized diagnostic equipment
- Perform engine repairs, engine replacements, and engine performance diagnostics
- Repair and replace transmission and drivetrain components
- Service and repair automotive air conditioning and heating systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid services, filters and tune-ups
- Complete vehicle inspections and accurately document findings and repair recommendations
- Must have your own tools and specialty tools
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair brake systems including pads, rotors, calipers, and hydraulic components
- Perform steering, suspension, and wheel alignment services
- Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems, wiring, sensors, and modules
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist and mentor lower-level techs as needed
- Communicate repair needs and recommendations clearly with service advisors and customers
Requirements:
- 3+ years of automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Able to perform advanced engine, transmission, electrical, and drivability repairs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Able to bend, stoop, reach, stretch, lift
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Work Schedule: 7am to 5:30pm Monday - Friday
