Job Full Description
Job Duties:
- Transport specimens between the lab/office and client offices
- Complete accurate data entry, patient setup, labeling, and specimen tracking
- Support daily lab operations including filing, phone support, and specimen preparation
- Maintain accurate data entry and specimen labeling
- Ensure specimens are properly tracked and transported
- Support efficient lab workflow
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous laboratory, healthcare, administrative, or data entry experience
- Laboratory accessions experience is a plus
- Able to use computers and computer programs, laboratory labeling systems, barcode scanners, printers, specimen containers, slide preparation tools, and microscopes as needed
- Reliable transportation to travel between the laboratory/offices and client offices - will be provided mileage reimbursement
- Must have valid DL with clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in typing
- Able to follow detailed instructions
- Accuracy with repetitive tasks
- Able to stand and sit for extended periods of time
- Good visual accuracy
Work Schedule: 11am to 7pm Monday - Friday
