Job Full Description
Job Duties:
- Operate underground backfill plants
- Operate high-pressure slurry pumping systems
- Monitor the slurry silo filling. Coordinate intake and output from silos
- Monitor the slurry intake and output to the backfill operations
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot breakdowns
- Maintain operational records on a shift-by-shift basis
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time at the discretion of the company
- Piping and valve installation and maintenance
- Monitor and maintain sand pours
- Monitor slurry silo filling
Requirements:
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Able to lift, bend, reach, push, pull, climb, walk, twist
- Mobile equipment experience
- Previous sand plant experience
Work Schedule: 6:30am to 6:30pm
