Job Full Description
Job Duties:
- Perform MIG/Wire welding
- Weld parts in vertical positions and execute fast, downward-motion welds
- Clamp, hold, tack, grind and position components to meet productions specs
- Select and install torch torches, tips, and wire based on material thickness
- Ignite torches, strike arcs, and complete welds per job requirements
- Adjust gas flow and pressure to achieve proper flame and weld quality
- Follow blueprints, charts, and internal safety standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years recent welding experience
- Experience with setting up welding equipment and consumables
- Proficient in MIG welding
- Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and spec sheets
- Strong hand control, heat management, and weld placement accuracy
- Skilled in prep work - clamping, tacking, and positioning
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds routinely
- Comfortable standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods
- Ability to work in heat, spark, and high noise environments
- Strong manual dexterity and visual accuracy
Work Schedule: 6am to 2:30pm Monday - Friday w/ OT as needed
