Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing hardware components and systems to meet the needs of our projects and clients. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and creativity to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop hardware components, including circuits, PCBs, and embedded systems.
- Create detailed design specifications, schematics, and layouts using CAD tools.
- Perform simulations, testing, and validation of hardware designs to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers, to define project requirements and ensure seamless integration of hardware and software systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot hardware issues, implementing design modifications as needed.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
- Document design processes, test results, and technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, and certifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in hardware design and development, with a focus on [specific systems, such as embedded systems, analog/digital circuits, etc., if applicable].
- Proficiency in CAD software for circuit design and PCB layout (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad).
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, microcontrollers, and hardware testing equipment.
- Familiarity with signal integrity analysis, thermal management, and power systems design.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with FPGA design and programming.
- Knowledge of embedded systems software development (e.g., C/C++).
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and DFM (Design for Manufacturability).
- Certifications such as IPC Designer Certification or similar are a plus.
