Pay: $18.00/hour DOE

Lab Technician in Willows, CA.

*Full-time, day shift position!

*Pay starts at $18+/hour DOE

*Weekly Pay!

Responsibilities of the Lab Technician:

Learn and recognize all products, sell-by dates, and parameters produced in the facility.
Aseptically test end products, raw materials, various environmental tests, assurance tests for chemical concentrations.
Check on processing and finished products for appearance, flavor, proper packaging, lot numbers, and product counts. Verify accurateness of paperwork accompanying finished goods.
Set up, operate, calibrate necessary laboratory equipment correctly and safely – equipment includes scales, pH meters, thermometers, Foss Milk Analyzer, moisture analyzer.
Comply with and help enforce company policies and procedures (GMP, HACCP, etc.)
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements of the Lab Technician:

Work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Read, interpret, analyze and problem-solve with attention to detail.
Must be able to work well under direct supervision, but demonstrate problem solving abilities and initiative when necessary.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Ability to work flexible schedule depending on operational needs.
Work safely with hazardous plant equipment and tools.
Previous science lab work required.
Experience in food manufacturing, or agricultural product experience preferred.
Schedule is Tuesday–Saturday, 10am to 6:30pm and Saturday's shift starts at 4am.
