Direct Hire position!

Pay starts at $80,000+ DOE/year with benefits!

Responsibilities of Controller:

• Oversee all financial operations including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and grower payments
• Ensure timely and accurate payment processing to vendors and growers
• Develop, implement, and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Prepare budgets, financial reports, and monthly financial statements for leadership and board meetings
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
• Coordinate internal audits and support external audit processes
• Manage relationships with banks, financial partners, and insurance providers
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and operational information

Responsibilities of Controller:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
• Prior experience in accounting, finance, or controller-level role preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with payroll systems, financial software, and budget management
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends during peak/harvest seasons
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
