Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Compton, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to technical specifications and blueprints.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to fabricate components with precision.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
• Program and adjust CNC machines to optimize production quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine inspections and quality checks on finished parts, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures in the manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist or similar role.
• Proficiency in operating and programming CNC lathe machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship in machining is a plus.
