Job Full Description
We are looking for a Second Shift Blender to work in our nutraceutical production facility. The Blender is responsible for accurately weighing, blending, and preparing raw materials used in the manufacturing of dietary supplements, ensuring all processes are performed in compliance with GMP standards.
Responsibilities:
• Weigh and measure raw materials according to batch records.
• Operate blenders and other related equipment to properly mix product ingredients.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of blending rooms, equipment, and tools before and after each batch.
• Complete production logs and maintain accurate records of batches.
• Follow formulas, mixing instructions, and company procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
• Perform line clearance and verify that previous materials are fully removed to prevent cross-contamination.
• Report any deviations, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
• Experience in blending, compounding, or food/pharmaceutical/nutraceutical production preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow batch records and production instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle physical work throughout the shift.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of GMP and safety guidelines in a manufacturing setting.
