Customer Service Specialist – Bilingual English & Spanish
📍 Location: Commerce, CA
🕒 Schedule: 7am- 4:30pm
💲 Compensation: $ 20
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented Customer Service Specialist to support our Technical Services team in managing flavor ingredient documentation. This bilingual role is critical in ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining accurate specifications and product data across systems.
📋 Responsibilities
• Procure and enter documentation for new flavor raw materials: product specs, nutritional info, allergen/GMO/Kosher statements, etc.
• Review and verify accuracy of documentation and update Finished Product Specifications, including Allergen, Non‑GMO, Vegan statements
• Produce Nutrition/Supplement Facts panels using Genesis or similar software
• Maintain digital archives for Technical Services and related departments
• Address other Technical Services support tasks as needed
🛠 Required Competencies
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities; adept at collaborating across teams
• Strong multitasking skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP); interface with FDA regulations (21 CFR 101/110, DSHEA) preferred
• Familiarity with food labeling laws and regulatory claims is a plus
