Job Title: Business Development Representative

 

Location: West Coast Region (CA, NV, OR, WA)

 

Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm or Direct Hire

 

Compensation: $68,000 – $75,000 annually (salary based on experience)

 

Additional Compensation: Commission on new sales + car allowance

 

Schedule: Monday through Friday

 

 

Position Summary:

 

 

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities. This individual will play a key role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth by targeting companies in need of precision laser and die-cut gasket solutions, including laminating, slotting, and custom fabrication services.

 

 

The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales or business development, excels in communication and relationship building, and thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Proactively identify and engage potential customers via cold calling, email prospecting, social media outreach, and industry events

 

• Qualify leads based on specific criteria to ensure alignment with company offerings

 

• Nurture and build relationships with potential clients by understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions

 

• Schedule and coordinate introductory meetings between prospects and the sales team

 

• Maintain and update detailed records of customer contacts, communications, project information (e.g., part numbers, drawings, volume forecasts)

 

• Collaborate with estimators, customer service, and sales team members to close business

 

• Provide regular sales reports and updates to management

 

• Stay informed on new products, pricing structures, and industry trends

 

• Safeguard company information and protect confidentiality at all times

 

 

Education & Experience Requirements:

 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or sales-related positions

 

• Demonstrated success in lead generation, relationship management, and closing deals

 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

 

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

 

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities

 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, email communication, and CRM systems

 

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

 

• Energetic, self-motivated, and results-driven personality

 

• Bilingual abilities a plus

 

 

Travel Expectations:

 

• Occasional travel within California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington
