Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Laser Cutting Operator to join our manufacturing team in Torrance, CA. The ideal candidate will operate CNC laser cutting machines to precisely cut metal and other materials according to specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency in production.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC laser cutting machines.

Load raw materials onto machines and prepare for cutting operations.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.

Adjust machine settings and parameters for optimal cutting quality.

Monitor machine operation to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.

Inspect finished parts for defects or deviations and document results.

Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.

Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major malfunctions to supervisors.

Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting machines preferred.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials up to 50 lbs.
