Transportation Coordinator
Rancho Dominguez, CA | $20–$21 per hour | ⏰ 7:30am – 4:30pm
About the Role
We are seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join our Distribution team in Rancho Dominguez. This role ensures smooth and efficient scheduling, shipment tracking, and carrier communication while supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.
What You’ll Do

Manage daily scheduling: create/update appointment schedules, send End-of-Day reports, and distribute next-day schedules to warehouses.

Oversee shipment & appointment management: maintain shipment logs, review Purchase Orders, and book carrier appointments.

Handle container & transfer coordination: update container status, manage SharePoint records, and book cost-effective carriers.

Support carrier & load confirmation: confirm shipments, track loads, and ensure correct truck allocations.

Assist warehouse operations: cover the Transportation Window, monitor warehouse temperatures, and support store listing distribution.

Provide driver & on-site support: manage driver check-ins, direct traffic, and answer transportation inquiries.

Process invoicing & administration: manage invoices in Business Central (BC) for transfers and non-franchisee billing.
What We’re Looking For

Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

3–5 years of experience in an administrative/logistics role.

Knowledge of warehouse operations & transportation logistics.

Strong computer skills (SharePoint, Microsoft Office).

Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
