Job Title: Manufacturing Associate – Wheelchair Production

Schedule: Monday–Friday, first shift only (no shift work). Overtime as needed; hours may vary by department.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to join our production team. This position plays a key role in the fabrication, assembly, packaging, and shipping of wheelchairs and related components. The ideal candidate will be quality-focused, safety-conscious, and adaptable to daily production needs. In this role, you will be responsible not only for meeting production demands but also for ensuring accuracy, maintaining records, and keeping a clean, organized work area.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, package, and/or ship products to meet daily production requirements.

  • Take ownership of product quality and perform in-process inspections.

  • Maintain accurate, legible, and timely production records.

  • Follow company safety standards and quality system procedures at all times.

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

  • Use hand tools and power tools (e.g., wrenches, drills) for assembly tasks.

  • Adapt to varying job demands across departments and support team priorities.

  • Demonstrate and uphold company values in all work activities.

  • Report to work consistently, on time, and ready to complete scheduled hours.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Skills & Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic engineering drawings.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and twisting.

  • Frequent lifting up to 10 lbs; occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.

  • Manual dexterity for handling tools, positioning products, and measuring parts.

  • Continuous wrist and hand movement.

  • Must be able to meet all physical requirements to perform essential job functions.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience working effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Familiarity with assembly, fabrication, shipping, and packaging tasks.

  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools.
