Job Title: Office Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Torrance, CA
Pay: $24–$25/hour
Schedule: 3 days per week to start, with potential to move to 5 days per week
Shift: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
About the Role:
We are seeking a self-starting, reliable, and flexible Office Assistant to support our team in Torrance. The ideal candidate will be local, able to pick up extra days throughout the week as needed, and comfortable working independently without hand-holding. You will play a key role in supporting the owner, especially during travel, effectively “holding down the fort” while ensuring smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Approve scope and documentation as needed

Assist with general office tasks and administrative support

Support team members across different departments as needed

Maintain accurate records and files

Manage phone calls, emails, and office inquiries professionally

Step in flexibly to cover tasks as priorities shift
Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Typing and computer skills will be assessed

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
