Job Title: Office Assistant (Temporary)
Pay Rate: $20–$22 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP (once the right candidate is identified)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support a busy office environment on a temporary basis. This role will primarily focus on scanning and filing documents, with occasional phone coverage as needed. Candidates with prior law office experience are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scan and organize physical documents into digital filing systems
- File and maintain both physical and electronic records accurately
- Assist with document management and general clerical tasks
- Provide back-up phone coverage (answering and directing calls professionally)
- Support office staff with additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior office experience required
- Law office experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with confidential documents
- Professional phone etiquette
- Proficient in basic computer and scanning systems
