Customer Service Support – 3-Month Assignment
📍 Location: Woodland, CA
💵 Pay: $25–$30/hour (depending on experience)
⏰ Assignment Length: 3 months

Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Customer Service Support professional to assist with order management and backlog coordination. In this role, you will research open orders against production schedules, communicate lead times and delivery dates to off-site Customer Service teams, and act as a liaison across multiple departments. This is a three-month temporary assignment designed to keep customer service departments informed and ensure accurate order flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and track open orders versus production schedules.

  • Communicate lead times and delivery dates to off-site Customer Service teams.

  • Serve as a liaison between Materials, Planning, Production, Warehouse, and Customer Service.

  • Advocate for Customer Service needs within the production environment.

  • Prepare clear and timely reports to support operational flow.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

  • 4+ years of customer service experience in a manufacturing or production setting (construction industry a plus).

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP or QAD highly preferred).

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLookups, data analysis).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and prioritization abilities.

Skills & Competencies

  • Technical: SAP/ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, production/shipping familiarity.

  • Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, proactive communication, adaptability, and teamwork.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Office-based with some time in manufacturing areas.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and exposure to warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts).

  • Reports directly to the Materials Manager.
