Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Boiler Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing boiler systems to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role involves working with a variety of equipment—including hot water, steam, hydronic, and combustion systems—in both commercial and industrial settings. Applicants must have hands-on combustion/combustible systems experience.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair boilers, burners, pumps, and control systems.

Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on boiler systems.

Diagnose equipment faults and perform corrective actions efficiently.

Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and documentation.

Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.

Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.

Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certificate preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience as a boiler technician or stationary engineer.

Valid boiler operator license or certification (as required by state or local regulations).

Strong knowledge of boiler operation principles, combustion, and water treatment.

Demonstrated experience working with combustion/combustible systems is required.

Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical skills.

Strong commitment to safety and preventive maintenance.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces or elevated areas.

Comfortable working in hot or noisy environments.

Capable of standing, bending, or kneeling for extended periods.
