Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Aftermarket Parts Installer/Mechanic. This position involves installing, modifying, and servicing aftermarket automotive accessories and performance parts on a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working with vehicle upgrades and custom installations.
Responsibilities
- Install aftermarket automotive parts and accessories.
- Diagnose and resolve installation issues.
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after installations.
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Accurately document work performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding installation recommendations and project status.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive mechanic or aftermarket installation experience.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and tools.
- Ability to read installation instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Experience with suspension, electrical, and accessory installations.
- Welding experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment.
