Job Full Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented associates to assist with a warehouse relocation project located nearby. This role involves conducting inventory counts, preparing materials for transport, and organizing stock in a new warehouse facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physical inventory counts across approximately 3,200 stock items
- Label, scan, and document inventory using a PDA scanner
- Verify serial numbers, barcodes, and asset tags for accuracy
- Move inventory onto carts for transport to moving trucks
- Assist with packing, palletizing, and staging materials
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or mislabeled items; repair packaging as needed
- Organize and stock inventory in the new warehouse according to layout
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety procedures
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, bending, and movement throughout the shift
- Comfortable climbing 10–12 ft platform ladders while maintaining three points of contact at all times
