CNC Machine Operator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to operate bar machine lathes and ensure the production of high-quality components in accordance with company specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate bar machine lathes in accordance with company standards and production requirements
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
- Utilize basic inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Maintain a clean and organized work area; assist with general shop cleaning as needed
- Monitor machine performance and report any issues to supervisors
Requirements:
- Previous CNC machining experience required
- Familiarity with bar machine lathe operations preferred
- Knowledge of basic inspection tools and quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Good visual acuity and manual dexterity
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching required
- Comfortable working in a shop environment that may be dusty or dirty
