Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to assemble and manufacture products or sub-assemblies according to assembly procedures and work instructions. This role requires the ability to meet quality and production goals while performing detailed assembly work using hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble products and sub-assemblies following written assembly procedures and work instructions.
- Meet daily production and quality goals by completing finished products accurately and efficiently.
- Perform detailed assembly tasks requiring fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
- Safely use hand and power tools during the assembly process.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work in production environments, including around moving parts and in confined spaces when necessary.
Skills & Qualifications
- Assembly and hand tool experience preferred.
- Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to follow written instructions and production procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Basic computer skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
- Use fine motor skills and manual dexterity to handle small parts.
- Safely operate hand and power tools.
- Ability to work around moving machinery and equipment.
