Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Customer Service Representative who will serve as a primary point of contact for customers and interpret customer requirements to produce custom manufactured products. Previous experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and resolving issues while maintaining accurate records within the ERP platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and chat
- Process and manage customer orders, returns, and inquiries using the company’s ERP system
- Provide product and service information, resolving any emerging problems with accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Warehouse, Accounting) to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Review and acknowledge lead times based on stock, raw material, machine and personnel availability
- Maintain accurate customer records and notes in the ERP system
- Monitor open orders, track shipment status, and follow up on backorders or delays
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and report recurring issues
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and timely communication
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of customer service experience, ideally in a B2B environment
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is a plus
- Strong computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
