Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Warehouse Worker to join our team. This position involves a combination of warehouse operations, light machine operation, and local deliveries using a company box truck. The ideal candidate is a skilled multitasker with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, and store incoming materials and inventory
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and packaging or production machines
- Prepare and stage outgoing orders for delivery
- Safely operate a box truck (non-CDL) to deliver products to local customers and job sites
- Load and unload materials using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Perform basic machine operation and maintenance checks
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, inventory movements, and machine logs
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse and vehicle
- Follow all DOT, safety, and company policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required)
- Experience operating a box truck, warehouse equipment, or machinery preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer or tablet skills for delivery logs and inventory tracking
