Job Full Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to operate and monitor equipment used in the production of cardboard and corrugated boxes. The ideal candidate will ensure machines run efficiently, products meet quality standards, and production goals are achieved in a safe manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate corrugated box manufacturing machinery, including cutting, folding, printing, and gluing equipment
- Set up machines according to production specifications and work orders
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished boxes for quality, accuracy, and defects
- Load raw materials and remove finished products from production lines
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major mechanical problems
- Maintain production records and complete required documentation
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred
- Ability to read measurements and production specifications
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Forklift experience is a plus
