Job Full Description
We are seeking two experienced TIG Welders to join an aviation parts company located in Fort Myers, FL. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity offering competitive pay based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding of metal objects using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding techniques.
- Plan, fabricate, and produce metal forms or objects.
- Reconstruct damaged articles made from various metals and alloys.
- Utilize hand tools, fixtures, jigs, and clamps for small welding tasks.
- Cut metal using a torch while following diagrams or sketches.
- Weld and fuse different metals to meet high-strength demands while preventing distortion.
- Adjust and regulate equipment as necessary for specific tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder.
- Background in a machine shop environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical diagrams.
- Team player with a collaborative attitude.
