Express Employment Professionals has teamed up with a fun and well-established beach retail store on Captiva Island and is seeking an outgoing, customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join their team!
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a great company that truly values its employees.

Work in a fun and relaxed beachside environment
Schedule:
Monday–Sunday, between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM
Candidates must be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner

Provide product knowledge, recommendations, and assistance with merchandise

Respond to customer questions and inquiries while creating a welcoming shopping experience
Sales & Product Management

Maintain a strong understanding of store merchandise and product features

Assist with upselling and cross-selling products

Restock shelves and maintain organized, visually appealing displays

Assist with inventory and merchandising as needed
Operational Support

Process customer transactions accurately using a POS system

Handle cash and credit card transactions securely

Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment

Assist with opening and closing procedures
Beachfront Experience

Help create a fun, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the relaxed Captiva beach lifestyle

Provide recommendations based on customer needs and preferences

Assist with creative displays and promotions
Requirements:

Previous retail experience is required

Previous POS system experience is required

Strong customer service and communication skills

Friendly, outgoing, and dependable personality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must be flexible to work within the store's operating hours, including weekends
