Job Title: Auto Service Department Customer Service Representative
Position Summary:
We are seeking a professional, personable, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Auto Service Department. This role is the first point of contact for customers seeking automotive maintenance and repairs, and plays a vital role in ensuring a high-quality customer experience from drop-off to pick-up.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers in person, over the phone, or online, and assist with service inquiries.

Schedule service appointments and maintain the service calendar.

Open and close repair orders accurately and efficiently.

Communicate service needs and recommendations to customers.

Coordinate with service technicians and advisors to provide accurate timelines and updates.

Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary.

Process payments, warranties, and service documentation.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service reception area.

Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or technical degree a plus).

Prior customer service experience, preferably in the automotive industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Familiarity with automotive terminology and repair processes is a plus.

Experience with service management systems (e.g., Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, etc.) a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
