Accounting/Office Clerk – Industrial Machine Shop (Fort Myers, FL)
Job Type: Evaluation to Hire
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Benefits: 100% Paid Medical Benefits, Paid Holidays, Paid Shutdown Between Christmas & New Year's
Compensation: $25/Hr, will transition to a salary role ($52k a year) once hired.

We are hiring an Accounting/Office Clerk to join our team. This position is perfect for someone with attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and experience in bookkeeping and general accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions
- Perform past-due account collections
- Enter and manage data using Excel and accounting software
- Maintain accurate filing of accounting data and reports
- Ensure a clean and organized office environment
- Support the accounting team with general administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Experience in bookkeeping/accounting or a related degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word
- Familiarity with accounting software
- Strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail
- Ability to perform basic business math
- Must be able to pass company-administered math, spelling, and alphabetizing tests
- Ten-key by touch experience preferred
- Must be comfortable working in both an office and a manufacturing environment
