Job Summary: Porter Car Dealership
The Car Dealership Porter is responsible for assisting with the movement, cleanliness, and organization of vehicles on the dealership lot and within the service department. This role supports both the sales and service teams by ensuring a smooth flow of operations and excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Move vehicles to and from service lanes, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
- Wash, vacuum, and maintain the cleanliness of customer vehicles.
- Ensure the dealership lot is organized, clean, and free of trash or hazards.
- Assist in the delivery and pickup of vehicles when necessary.
- Greet customers and assist with vehicle drop-off and pickup.
- Maintain inventory organization on the lot, including repositioning cars.
- Check in new inventory deliveries and park them in assigned areas.
- Keep service drive and other dealership areas clean and presentable.
- Monitor and report vehicle or facility issues to management.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work outdoors and be physically active for extended periods.
Working Conditions:
- Frequent movement around the dealership premises.
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Work schedule may include weekends and evenings.
Position Type: Full Time Temp to Perm
Pay: $16.00
Schedule: Hours vary between 7am and 6pm Mon-Fri Some Saturdays may be required.
