Now Hiring: Window Takeoff/Ordering Specialist & Install Scheduler
Location: Fort Myers, FL | Pay: $26–$31/hr | 6-Month Contract with Potential for Permanent Hire

 

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a rapidly growing, multimillion-dollar residential window and door company in Fort Myers. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Window Takeoff/Ordering Specialist who will also support Install Scheduling functions. This is a full-time, in-person 6-month contract position with the potential to transition to a permanent role.

Position Responsibilities:

Takeoff and Ordering Duties:

  • Perform plan takeoffs for multiple residential construction projects

  • Review window and door specifications for accuracy

  • Create templates and lot-specific workbooks for material tracking

  • Adjust takeoffs for plan revisions and pricing updates

  • Place product orders using online manufacturer platforms

  • Organize and maintain digital and physical job files

Install Scheduling Duties:

  • Schedule installations for 7–10 crews across multiple communities

  • Communicate with builder field teams, crews, and internal departments

  • Review and maintain Excel workbooks with lot-specific job data

  • Manage tasks through the company’s builder platform

  • Assist with implementing new project management software

  • Coordinate with the warehouse team on paperwork and material staging

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with window/door takeoffs and installation scheduling required

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Office Suite

  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction plans is essential

  • Familiarity with PGT and CGI products is a plus

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong communication skills; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

  • Flexible, dependable, and eager to learn

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday; 8–10 hours/day for takeoff tasks

  • 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM for scheduling responsibilities

Compensation and Potential Benefits:

  • $26–$31 per hour, based on experience
