Job Title: TIG Welder
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time/Temp to Perm
Pay: $23.00-$30.00 depending on experience
Schedule: 6:30am to 3pm Mon-Fri

We are a well-established aerospace manufacturing company in Fort Myers, FL, specializing in precision fabrication and assembly. We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder with strong stainless-steel expertise to join our team and contribute to producing high-quality aerospace components.
Position Summary:
The TIG Welder will be responsible for performing precision welding tasks on stainless steel and other metals in accordance with aerospace quality standards. This position requires the ability to interpret blueprints, follow exact specifications, and produce durable, distortion-free welds.
Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on stainless steel and various metals.
- Plan and produce metal forms or objects according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Reconstruct or repair damaged articles made of various metals and alloys.
- Use hand tools, fixtures, jigs, and clamps to complete small welding jobs with precision.
- Cut metal using a torch, following diagrams, sketches, or technical drawings.
- Weld/fuse different metals to meet high-strength requirements while preventing distortion.
- Adjust and regulate welding equipment as necessary for the specific job.
- Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards in all tasks performed.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of TIG welding experience, with a strong focus on stainless steel.
- Experience working in aerospace or other precision manufacturing environments preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Strong understanding of metal properties and welding techniques.
- Knowledge of proper safety procedures and practices in a welding environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
