Job Title: Part-Time Beach Resort Maintenance Worker
Location: Ft. Myers Beach, FL
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 7am to 4pm work times may vary
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Maintenance Worker to join our team at a beautiful beach resort in Ft. Myers Beach. This role includes a variety of maintenance, grounds and building cleanup tasks to ensure our property remains safe, clean, and inviting for guests.
Responsibilities:
Position is responsible for performing various building maintenance repairs, upgrades and service items such as electrical and plumbing components as needed. Repair and or install lighting fixtures, sprinklers, faucets, washers and seals, clogged drains, paint and trim work, assemble and/or repair furniture and cabinetry. Also responsible for completing some grounds work and light janitorial duties including trash disposal, curb sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc. in commercial areas.
Must be able to lift up to 100lbs occasionally; 50 pounds frequently.
Must have full range of motion in arms, hands, fingers and legs in order to stoop, crawl, walk, bend, push, pull, reach and lift as required by various job duties.
Responsible for safety compliance and maintaining a courteous manner during all guest interaction. Minimum of 1 yr experience required.
Must read, write and speak English. Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Requirements:
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
- Prior maintenance or groundskeeping experience preferred.
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule.
