Data Entry Specialist – Government Opportunity | Fort Myers, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $16/hour | Paid Monthly

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a Fort Myers government office seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join their Centralized Data Processing team. This is an excellent government opportunity offering exceptional benefits and long-term stability.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, and able to work both independently and within a team environment while maintaining strict confidentiality and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create new case records and upload supporting documentation
• Process criminal history and driver license information
• Prepare disposition reports and victim notification letters
• Manage eService requests and incoming video evidence
• Collaborate with court dockets and internal reporting systems
• Perform accurate data entry and verification
• Maintain spreadsheets, including pivot tables
• Support general clerical and administrative functions as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior data entry or clerical experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excel pivot table experience is a plus
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and dependable demeanor
