Job Title: Inside Sales/Vendor Parts Locator
Location: Ft Myers, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift
Pay Range: $27.00-$30.0
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative with strong knowledge of commercial heavy-duty truck parts to support our fire and emergency vehicle division. This position is responsible for contacting vendors, sourcing parts, and providing accurate pricing and availability information to ensure timely repairs and service for fire trucks and emergency vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers to locate and source parts for fire trucks and emergency vehicles.
- Obtain and compare pricing, lead times, and product availability.
- Process purchase orders and maintain detailed records in company systems.
- Work closely with service and repair teams to ensure accurate part identification and timely delivery.
- Provide professional and responsive phone and email support to vendors and internal departments.
- Utilize computer systems and inventory management software to track orders, pricing, and parts availability.
- Maintain knowledge of commercial and heavy-duty truck parts, components, and systems.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable sourcing and cost efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in inside sales, parts, or purchasing within the commercial or heavy-duty truck industry.
- Strong understanding of truck components, electrical systems, hydraulics, and related parts.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory/parts management software.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
- High attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
