Job Title: Class B CDL Route Delivery Driver – Milk Delivery
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Early morning start times, flexible schedule with alternating days
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Class B CDL Route Delivery Driver to join our team in the Fort Myers area. This position involves delivering milk and dairy products to various accounts, including stores, restaurants, and other commercial customers. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working early mornings with a flexible, rotating schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class B CDL delivery truck on established routes throughout the Fort Myers area.
- Load, unload, and deliver milk and dairy products to customer locations in a timely and professional manner.
- Verify and document deliveries, ensuring accuracy in product counts and invoices.
- Rotate and stock products according to customer requirements.
- Collect payments or delivery confirmations as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck and adhere to all DOT safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes, delays, or delivery issues.
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including loading trucks or organizing inventory.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class B CDL license with a clean driving record.
- Previous route delivery experience preferred (dairy or beverage delivery a plus).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in refrigerated environments.
- Strong customer service and time management skills.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible/alternating early morning shifts.
