Medical Biller – Surgery Center Support
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM | Friday, 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Overview:
Express Employment Professionals of Fort Myers is seeking a Medical Biller to join a small, family-owned medical practice that partners with multiple surgery centers. Key Responsibilities:

Process medical billing and payments for a 3rd-party provider associated with local surgery centers.

Review, verify, and submit medical claims accurately and in a timely manner.

Reconcile payment postings and resolve discrepancies.

Communicate with insurance companies, providers, and patients regarding claims and payments.

Maintain patient billing records in compliance with HIPAA and internal guidelines.

Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and assist in appeals when necessary.

Provide administrative support to ensure billing accuracy and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:
-
2+ years of medical billing experience (surgery center or 3rd-party billing preferred).

Knowledge of medical billing codes, EOBs, and insurance verification procedures.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.

Experience with medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Professional communication skills and a strong sense of confidentiality.
