Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
Pay: $23/hr

About the Role
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Clinical Administrative Assistant to support a healthcare team with essential communication, scheduling, and administrative functions. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Intake Specialist

Answer and route incoming calls; provide information and relay messages to clinical staff.

Coordinate communication between team members and assist with patient-related inquiries.

Schedule and track clinician visits, including rescheduling missed or declined appointments.

Update patient demographics, locations, and status within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

Prepare and distribute reports, faxes, and documentation as needed.

Scan and maintain patient health information records.

Maintain supply levels, order medical supplies, and support stockroom organization.

Assemble caseload packets, medication sheets, and other clinical documentation.

Assist during Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings as needed.

Become proficient in systems such as Forcura, LabCorp, Trident, DocuSign, and EMR workflows.

Provide back-up administrative support to other departments for lunches, breaks, and PTO coverage.

Participate in weekend/holiday rotation coverage as needed.

Perform other administrative and clinical support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Intake Specialist
-
Associate degree or 3–4 years of relevant administrative experience (medical office experience preferred).

Strong computer skills including typing, data entry, and familiarity with email, EMR systems, and databases.

Ability to read and interpret professional materials, write reports, and communicate clearly.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Must be comfortable interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Physical Requirements

Frequent sitting, computer work, and communication.

Occasionally lift/move up to 10 lbs.

Moderate noise environment.
