Job Title: 1st Shift Technician
Reports To: Production Manager
Status: Overtime Eligible
Classification: Full-Time
Shift: 1st Shift – 4:45 AM to 3:15 PM, four days per week (Fridays off)
Job Summary:
The Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining proprietary machinery and other production equipment to support manufacturing demands. This role ensures machines run efficiently, quality standards are met, and all procedures are followed in compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This position requires the ability and willingness to report to and work at multiple company locations throughout the Fort Myers area based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot proprietary machinery, including flexible pouch sachet machines and form, fill, and seal rigid blister filling machines.

Assist with daily machine operations to ensure production goals are met.

Tear down, clean, and sanitize equipment while adhering to SOPs and work instructions.

Operate various shop machines safely and effectively.

Perform repairs and modify equipment as needed to maintain optimal performance.

Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on machines, accessories, and facility equipment.

Ensure finished products meet or exceed established quality standards.

Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, cGMP, and ISO requirements.

Maintain accurate and complete documentation and production records.

Comply with all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

Participate in assigned meetings and support team initiatives.

Must be able to reliably report to and perform work at different buildings and operational sites within the Fort Myers area as scheduled or required.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, business information, and professional journals.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present information and respond to questions from team members and leadership.

Working knowledge of mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions for practical application in a production environment.

Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.

Reliable transportation and the flexibility to travel between multiple Fort Myers-area locations are required.
